Justina Kozan, an Olympic swimmer from USC nicknamed "Wet Noodle" for her unique swimming style, sought to create a product and logo that would elevate her personal brand and connect with her fans and teammates. For this project, I designed a stylish and functional merchandise item with tube-shaped packaging that celebrated her identity as a swimmer and highlighted her impressive journey as a student-athlete, including setting personal records and earning a spot on the Pac-12 Winter Academic Honor Roll for the 2023-24 season.

Inspired by the fluidity of water and Kozan’s swift swimming style, I developed a logo that captured the motion and grace of her nickname. Using a sans-serif font with soft, rounded edges and sharp corners, I balanced fluidity with strength, mirroring her approach to swimming. Stylized letters, such as the W and E, evoke the rippling movement of water. This direction is carried into the packaging design, which features a swimmer-inspired graphic and a tube shaped like a swimmer's head, complete with a removable swim cap lid. Inside, the kit includes swimmer essentials like goggles, a swim cap, earplugs, chapstick, and sunscreen, blending playful design with practicality to create a memorable and cohesive brand experience.
